that was a whole 365

Falling sick on the eve of eve isn't the best gift to end 2008 with. It was kind of a struggle when my alarm triggered this morning, but aching body & heavy head sets in so I could only call in for MC. I used to brag how fit I am cos I rarely fall sick. But ever since internship commenced, today was the third time. First was the very week I started work which I blamed the laborious hours under the sun for F1 race. Second was during the period I was so tied up with Autodesk event. Both was just plain serious flu & cough. This time round's bcos of the fever which makes me extremely uncomfortable despite rolling in bed the entire day. How do I hold the entire tmr at work, how do i hold the countdown at Hyatt? Pssst! I wanna join the fun at countdown de lah! :(


Christmas this year was memorable maybe bcos I have no memories of celebrating in the past years. I love gift exchanges, from shopping for the most suitable gift for that person to seeing his/her expression when he/she unwraps the gift. Definately worth the squeezing amongst the horrendous crowd at gift stores.

The first half of the eve was spent at a X'mas Lunch event held at O'learys. It was an indescribable feeling of fear when I came to know the news about the S'Flyer, & the heavy downpour on the actual morning. Reason being O'learys was located at S'Flyer & fear of the operation being affected was intense, and heavy rain which might really deter the group from taking the river cruise. Good thing the event went all well.
Dinner with srz & 1.66 (ho gave a miss becos of drew! haha) at Ichiban Sushi and without much plans plus the fact we didn't wanted to get stucked in the crowd in town, we headed back to my place in hope to count down peacefully. Wrong move! hahahahahhaha but anw, it was good chilling out & bunking in with each other. Love this feeling :)

Post x'mas at Fisherman's Wharf with chen & yan (jie was plcuking berries in Cameron Highland! haha) after our work. Lousy food but great company followed by Cafe Iguana before heading home because I had to wake up early for work the next day.

Then Sunday was gift exchange with Sukie. We were planning to settle at this Western restuarant at The Cathay but the queue was amazingly long so we head to Cartel with my fave freeflow bread loaf :) Thanks for the gifts specially flown in from Japan & i love my gift to you so so much! hahaha. The sad moment came when I made request to meet for lunch cos I wanna return home to catch the shows on cable tv.... to find out that those free channels got cut off. Right that day! So depressing can! No more channel surfing, no more taiwanese variety shows, no luck to catch the telecast of countdown 2009 in Taiwan :(
